What is Year 7 learning this week?
Now there is one place to look.
Curriculum Map lays every year group's units of learning on one grid, tags them against your own learner profile, and turns the lesson plans you already have into lessons for you to review.
Runs on top of Curriculum, so switch that on too.
The plan exists. Just not in one place.

Plans scattered across folders
Year 3's unit plan is a Google Doc, Year 4's is a PDF, and the term is only in the file name. Nobody has seen the whole year at once.
- Today · 02
"What is Year 7 doing this week?" takes a round of emails
The overview is a spreadsheet of unit titles that was out of date by October. A governor or a cover teacher asks, and you ask each head of year.

Your ethos lives in the prospectus, not the plans
You say every child grows as an inquirer and a communicator. But nobody can show where in the year that is taught, or where it is missing.
One map the whole academic team plans on.
Built from the documents you already have
Drop in a lesson-plan PDF or Word file, or paste the text. FirstDay drafts the lessons with their objectives, activities and resources, and you review them. Or import a CSV and spend no AI credits.
This week, for every year group
The This week view shows each year group and subject: the unit, the lesson the plan says is due, and the topic teachers actually recorded on the register.
Your learner profile, across the year
Tag units and lessons with your own attributes (an IB learner profile preset is built in), then filter the map as a heat map to see where each is taught and where it is thin.
From a folder of plans to a published map.
- 01
Set up your periods and learner profile
Lay out the school year the way you teach it: terms, half-terms or semesters, with a starting layout for your country. Apply the IB learner profile or write your own attributes.
- 02
Drop in a lesson plan
Upload a PDF or Word file, or paste the text, and say the year group, subject and how many lessons the unit has. You see the AI credit cost before anything runs. The draft comes back as lessons, with objectives, activities, resources, framework codes and suggested learner-profile tags.
- 03
Review, tag and publish
Fix the draft, adjust the tags, then a curriculum lead publishes it. Published lessons then appear in the topic picker teachers use on the register.
- 04
Plan and read the year
Drag a unit along the timeline when plans change, and flip between Terms and Weeks. Open This week for the school-wide answer to what each year group is doing now.
Who uses Curriculum Map
Head of curriculum / Deputy Head, Academic
Plans every unit on one map, imports the plans, and publishes them when they are ready.
Heads of year and subject leaders
See what their year group or subject is doing, week by week, and move a unit when the plan changes.
Teachers
Read the map, and find a published unit's lessons in the register's topic picker.
Head
Answers "what is each year doing this week?" and "where do we teach our learner profile?" without asking around.

Curriculum Map.
How is Curriculum Map priced?
One flat price per school, whatever your roll and however many staff use it. AI imports use your AI credits, and the cost is shown before each one runs. Planning by hand and the CSV import use none. The price is a launch placeholder and will be confirmed before we ask you to subscribe.
Does it need other modules?
Yes: Curriculum, which in turn needs Timetable & Attendance. A unit's lessons are the same scheme-of-work topics teachers choose from on the register, so those modules have to be on for the map and the register to agree.
Do we have to use AI?
No. You can build a unit by hand, or import a CSV with one row per lesson. The AI import is for schools whose plans are already written up as documents and who want a first draft instead of retyping them.
Can it read any lesson plan, and what happens to the file?
It reads PDFs and Word files that contain text, and text you paste, so a Google Doc works once exported. It cannot read a scan that is only a picture, and it does not pull from a Drive link yet. The text goes to an AI provider (Anthropic) only when someone starts an import, and a person reviews every draft before it appears anywhere.
Who can see and change what?
Staff with the default role can read the published map. Importing needs the import permission, and publishing, planning periods and the learner profile need the manage permission. Neither is given to the default staff role. A draft is visible only to whoever made it and to managers.
Do parents see the map?
Not today. Curriculum Map is an internal staff tool, with no parent-facing summary, and it does not yet pre-select the lesson topic on the Polish register (dziennik) by period. Both are on our list, not in the product.
